A sword would have cost about 6 shillings back then. Back then a shilling was worth about a dollar. So that means that a sword have cost $6.00. Now a days swords cost between $2000.00 - $4500.00 or more.
Did you now that in medieval times knights fought over girls.
They all so fought to get money by knocking the other knight off of their horse. The knight that lost would need to give his armour to the other knight. The knight that won would then sell it back to the other knight.
